Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to join their team in Georgia. This role is designed for a proactive individual who is passionate about building and scaling financial systems from the ground up and directly influencing profitability, cash flow, and scalability. Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop an existing finance and accounting team, providing hands-on guidance, coaching, and support to elevate performance and execution.
  • Build and implement KPIs and performance metrics across teams to drive accountability and results.
  • Design and manage incentive compensation programs aligned to performance and profitability.
  • Identify and execute revenue and margin improvement opportunities across customer accounts.
  • Develop and streamline end-to-end financial and operational processes to support scale.
  • Oversee timely, accurate financial reporting and improve internal visibility (monthly/quarterly reporting).
  • Establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Optimize billing, invoicing, and cash collection processes to improve speed and accuracy.
  • Improve working capital performance (DSO, DPO, cash flow optimization).
  • Streamline accounts payable and vendor payment processes, including automation and cost efficiencies.
  • Implement tools, systems, and workflows that support automation and scalability.
  • Lead cash flow forecasting and treasury management, ensuring optimal use of capital and liquidity.
  • Partner with leadership to drive data-backed decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operational finance leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building KPIs, improving processes, and driving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and operational drivers.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, or operationally complex environments.
  • Hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and in the details.
  • Comfortable building structure where it doesn't yet exist.
  • Brings strong core traits-ownership, accountability, analytical rigor, and a bias for action-that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Education requirement is a Bachelor's degree.

Additional Details

The position is a supervisory role with a salary range of $100,000 to $115,000 annually.
